#Megaman x5 ending theme how to#

I'd like to say let's hope for UDON to swing in and bring this one stateside but, alas, Iwamoto's work remains stuck in Japan. At present, you can only find it in the 25th anniversary Memorial box set. So right about now you're probably wondering where you can see more of this fascinating tale. (what was left of it, at least) Iwamoto, my man, you've really outdone yourself here. We're led to assume Zero successfully repaired X at the cost of his very own life. this fella:Īlthough it appears to be a literal combination of X and Zero, Sigma allegedly identifies this figure as "X". A foreboding, yet familiar voice then beckons to Zero – Sigma. Zero musters his reaming strength and repairs X with the remains of his own body. Now just a torso, Zero returns to normal and laments the death of his best friend. What ensues is garishly detailed fight that ends with Zero literally being blown in two and X dying by Irregular Zero's hands. Song: Mega Man X5 Ending Theme Type: Ending/Credits, PlayStation, 2000, Capcom - 2 ReMixes - Music by Mosquito Milk, Naoto Tanaka, Naoya Furutani. UPDATE: An English translation is now available courtesy of Sky! Check it out here: Īccording to various sources, the 10-page story takes place in the third Zero Space stage with X facing off against an "awakened" Zero. Titled " Rockman X5 IF", the manga presents fans with an brand new, alternate ending for Rockman X5 that's all kinds of crazy. Now I'd like to see some of THAT on the top of my cake as the finishing touch. The new Rockman X 25th anniversary Memorial Carddass box set is now available in Japan, and as promised, it contains a new one-shot manga by Yoshihiro Iwamoto. I felt as if X and Zero became one again when X was in Shadow Armor, It's basicly a saber wielding Megaman, yet at the same time It's X but with Zero's features. Shadow Armor X was X being overpowered for the first time in a long while. In X6, the only thing I like is Shadow Armor X, Zero was way too strong, killed it for me. I feel kinda sad about it, but I'm pleased with the result up to X5. Like ZX from ZX Advent and such, I feel that Capcom's decision of keeping Megaman's outlook and Inafune's decision of keeping Zero's personality led one character to be tore in half. or better, Zero and X were one and the same to begin with. I feel like It would've been a hell-ton better if X didn't exist. It should've been named Megaman Zero to begin with, although I like the rivalry inbetwee n X and Zero, and that I respect Inafune and Capcom's decisions. X is more like a damsel in distress most of the time, Zero is like Mario to Peach in that aspect, except that he gets to boss the Princess around.
#Megaman x5 ending theme series#
I don't even know the reason why the series is called Megaman X anymore. It's obvious that most people were not recognize the Blue Bomber if he became a Saber-Wielding Protoman.

Think of it like this, Blue becomes popular, It gets a real high sell rating AND many fans, and now you're creating a sequel dressing Blue in Red and publishing it. although he started more like Protoman, he was 50/50 during MMZ series.Īfter replaying some games in the franchise, I can say without a second doubt that X was only an Eye-Candy since Zero was the original Megaman of that generation, Capcom just wanted to keep the looks.

Fatma Işık Tekbaş I think Zero was Megaman to begin with.
